In short
- Your chart is computed on your own device.
- For a reading, only the date, time and place of birth (and gender, if you give it) are sent, once — never a name — and nothing is stored on our servers.
- A scanned horoscope is sent once to be read and is not stored.
- Names, birth details and readings are saved only on your device. No account, no advertising trackers, no selling of data.
What we process and why
Birth details. When you tap Read my horoscope, the birth date, time, place (as coordinates and time zone) and, if you chose one, the gender go to our server. The server computes the chart and passes the chart facts to an AI model that writes the reading: Google's Gemini or DeepSeek through OpenRouter (we only allow providers that do not store your data or use it for training), or Google's Gemini API directly. The details are held in memory for that request only and are not saved or logged.
Scanned horoscopes. If you choose Read my scanned horoscope, the pages you pick (photos or a PDF) are sent once, over an encrypted connection, to Google's Gemini to copy the birth details. They are not stored. You check every detail before anything is saved, and only on your device.
Translations. Translating a reading sends only the words of that reading, not the birth details.
Usage limits. To keep the service free and fair, our server counts readings per day. It stores a one-way code made from your internet address and the date — it cannot be turned back into your address and changes every day — with a number. Nothing else.
What stays on your device
The people you add (name, relation, birth details), their charts and readings, and your settings are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you download a backup and share it yourself. A backup can be locked with a password (AES-256 encryption). Clearing your browser data, or Your people → Delete all, removes them.
Children
A child's horoscope may be added only by a parent or guardian, who confirms this in the app. Readings for anyone under 18 are only about studies, talents, friendships and good habits — never about love or marriage.
Guidance and entertainment only
Astrology is a traditional art, not a science. Readings are for guidance, self-reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, financial, legal or psychological advice. We never predict lifespan, death, illness or a child's sex, never frighten with doshas, and never sell remedies, poojas or gemstones.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct or erase it. As we keep no birth details, scans or readings on our servers, everything you see in the app is under your own control on your device. For any question or grievance, write to us at the address below. We reply within 30 days.
